Gilpin Tram Shay #4 - On2 - Built by Matt Coleman - Piedmont Division, SER, NMRA

It is O Scale, 2ft Gauge (On2) and is a model of the Gilpin Tram Shay #4 as she appeared about 1907. It was scratchbuilt in 1982, before any of the imports came of these locos. I used modified PSC castings for the trucks and engines, and it has working valve gear and is driven through the Shay drive train. The body was made from 0.020" and 0.015" brass. The frame was made from brass shapes, with end beam castings modified from PSC castings.
